is one and least hunting reserve in Nepal established in 19878 A.D. Hunting
Reserve over’s total area of 1,325 sq.km
spread over Rukum, Myagdi and Baglung Districts including world seven highest
peak Mt Dhaulagiri. The hunting reserve consists of the forests, marshland
(named as dhor) and flat meadows (called as patan).Hunting reserve is
characterized by alpine, sub alpine and high temperate vegetation. Analyzing
the wild beauty, interesting Magar culture, abundant animals and birds life
posses one of you the real life time achievements. Magar, Brahmins, Chhetri,
Tamang are ethnic people living around the surrounding of this reserve.
Flora and Faunas
Reserve is one of the prime habitats for flora and faunas as fir pine, birch, rhododendron, hemlock including blue sheep, leopard, Himalayan Tahr, Barking deer, wild boar. Climate
