Thank Sobit for helping me with my luggage storage and driving me all the way to tourism board to get the trekking permit. So kind and heartwarming! I really appreciate it. So happy to see him after I finished trekking. Just like old friends meeting each other again. I highly recommend Bold Himalaya to everyone.

Met Sobit through his brother Suresh during a recent visit to Nepal. We did a small trek with an overnight to Nagarkot with a stop to Bhaktapur on the way back to Kathmandu. Sobit is very knowledgeable about Nepal’s fauna and flora, as well as Nepal’s history. During the trek, the views of the Himalaya peaks started to come into view. We stayed at the View Point Hotel and caught sunset and sunrise. The next morning we hiked to a lookout tower with the best views yet. The trekking part of the trip ended with a pleasant and informative stroll through the countryside

Today, I had the opportunity to explore the spiritual and cultural gems of Pharping and Dakshinkali and it was nothing short of incredible. The tour was a perfect blend of nature, spirituality, and local culture by Sobit.
Pharping is a serene and sacred town just outside of Kathmandu, known for its strong Tibetan Buddhist influence. The moment we arrived, I could feel the peaceful atmosphere. We visited several monasteries, including the Asura Cave, where Guru Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated. The cave has a special energy, and watching monks go about their prayers was truly captivating. Thanks for this beautiful experience!! I really recomend!!

We choose Boold Himalaya. Treks for our trip to the Everest base camp trek and it was an amazing experience. We highly recommend this company. The guides are super friendly and highly professional with very kind hearted people. We would be coming back to Nepal for another trip to Nepal and of course we will join Bold Himalaya treks.

This time I chose Bold Himalaya for EBC hiking and I thought it was great👍 I am a girl traveling alone, and I am very grateful to the Bold Himalaya team for their help in allowing me to successfully complete the EBC hiking route. The team took good care of me and made me feel at ease and comfortable along the way. Sobit gave me a lot of practical advice (and also lent me a warm down jacket). The guides and porters who arranged the arrangements were also very responsible. They also helped with emergency arrangements for temporary situations due to unstable weather conditions, and they were also arranged according to my needs and conditions. Adjust the stroke. I sincerely thank them for their professionalism and encouragement, which allowed me to complete this challenge. I recommend it to friends who want to challenge the EBC journey

I want to sincerely thank Sobit for the organization! everything was on the highest level: from accommodation to the guiding. he told me everything about Nepali culture, knew answers on all my questions about temples etc.Sudan Karki was my guide for a 3-day trek, he was very nice and optimistic, helped with everything, served food and was really kind. with him you won’t get bored during your trip, knows everything about mountains, highly recommend him as a guide! After a trek we went to Chitwan, where a guide Harry was able to notice animals from a mile and recognized types of birds only by the sounds they made, that’s impressive. Sobit is always ready to answer my messages and help me to solve any problems. 11/10, i’m more than satisfied with this trip. i’m sure i’ll come back and ask Bald Himalaya to organize one more trip for me. thank again!

ABC has always been on my bucket list and this was nothing short of any expectations that i had! Bold Himalaya took really good care of us from the moment we landed in Kathmandu to the entirety of the hike. I felt safe and supported during the 5-day hike and was able to rely on my trusty guide who has good connections on the trek with the various rest-houses and drivers and porters. Everything was very well-planned and Bold Himalaya takes care of you very well even beyond the trek itself – for example when you are touring the city in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

The view of the surrounding hills from the area was breathtaking, adding to the peacefulness of the place.
Next, we made our way to Dakshinkali, a temple dedicated to the fierce goddess Kali. The atmosphere here was quite different, much more lively and intense. We arrived during a time of worship, and the rituals were fascinating, especially the offerings made to the goddess. While some of the animal sacrifices may not be for everyone, they are an important part of the local tradition and culture. The temple is situated in a beautiful valley, and the surrounding nature adds a refreshing contrast to the fervent religious activity.
The journey between Pharping and Dakshinkali offered stunning views of the countryside, and the guide was knowledgeable, offering insights into the local history and religious practices. The balance of peaceful meditation sites in Pharping and the energetic devotion at Dakshinkali made the tour incredibly enriching.
This tour gave me a deep appreciation of Nepal’s diverse spiritual traditions and natural beauty. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience both the serene and powerful sides of Nepalese culture!!

Friendly, personal tours by caring people

We had a single full day in Nepal as a layover for further travels. I contacted Sobit days before without a real plan. We asked if they could arrange a single full-day trip, from morning until evening (including dinner) to show us the must-sees in Kathmandu.

We’re very happy we got in touch with Sobit and his company. He understood us perfectly. We had a single day experience where we got to see as much of Kathmandu as we could, without it feeling like a typical organized/structured tour at any point. It felt a lot more like a friend bringing you to his favorite spots than a guide doing another daytrip.

Despite only having experienced a single day, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Bold Himalaya for your travels. They will make you feel welcome and enjoy traveling with you.

Langtang Valley 6 Day Trek

We had a wonderful trip and experience! My fiancée and I are casual hikers but wanted to do a bigger trek than we are used to. Sobit was very quick to communicate through the process and provide details to assist with planning. Our guide Surendra was extremely knowledgeable and able to adjust the itinerary to make sure we were able to see everything accounting for our ability and the weather. Our porter Lokendra was always full of energy and brought fun to interactions. Both provided great service while also sharing information and stories about Nepal, the regions were traveled through, and their own experiences.

The trek itself was a great blend of starting through a lower forest/jungle and slowly working upwards to higher altitudes that reward you with fantastic views of many mountains. We got to see various animals such as langurs, musk deer, wild boars, and many, many yaks!

I’m a female single traveler who just did the Everest Base Camp Trek.

If not for Bold Himalaya who took care of everything, I wouldn’t have done it safely and with so much fun. The staff went beyond my expectations and were very accommodating. So go get your arrangements from them and fulfill that bucket list to see Everest.
