The hiking trails of Chisapani Nagarkot are the most popular around the Kathmandu Valley and are considered a 3-day tea house hike. At the beginning of the trail, we get to experience the beauty of the Shivapuri National Park, which is sure to make us feel like freshmen. This route is known for its stunning views which include Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Langtang Lirung, Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa, Jugal Himal, and many other peaks. The first stop of this trek is Chisapani, which can be reached after walking for about 4 to 5 hours from Sundarijal. The second stop is Nagarkot, which is about a 7-8 hour walk from Chisapani. The trail passes through beautiful nature, and offers views of the stunning Himalaya panorama of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Gaurishankar Himal, and Mt. Everest, albeit at a far distance.


Dhulikhel Namobuddha Balthali Hiking is one of the best hiking trails that one can enjoy. The numerous cultural attractions, the beauty of the traditional lifestyle, and the green vegetation make Dhulikhel an ideal place to visit to experience what Nepal has to offer. From the top of the hill, one can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges of Annapurna range, Langtang, Choba Bhamre, Gaurishanker, Number Karyolung, and other peaks. The Namobuddha hike trail is one of the most memorable hikes that you can experience in Kathmandu. The view of the sunrise and the snowcapped mountains from Namobuddha is one of the best things to see from there. Namobuddha is a hill station with a stupa and gumba on top. The environment around the gumba is very clean and has fresh air. It is a place that reflects the Buddhist culture of Gurung, Tamang, and Sherpa. Chisapani Nagarkot Dhulikhel Namobuddha Hiking Route

This trek begins from Sundarijal, which is just a short drive away from Kathmandu Valley. You'll hike uphill through the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, and eventually reach Chisapani - a small village surrounded by forests. Chisapani offers a stunning view of both sunrise and sunset and is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.


From Chisapani, the journey continues towards Nagarkot - a popular hill station. Nagarkot is famous for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas, making it an ideal place to unwind and bask in the beauty of nature.


The next destination is Dhulikhel, which is renowned for its magnificent mountain views and historic temples. This small town has narrow streets and a lovely atmosphere.


The final destination of the trek is Namobuddha - a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. Namobuddha is famous for the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery and a stupa. Legend has it that Buddha, in a previous life, gave his own flesh to a hungry tigress and her cub at this site.


Scenery

The Chisapani-Nagarkot-Dhulikhel-Namobuddha hiking route showcases a mesmerizing journey through the lush landscapes of Nepal. The trek begins in Chisapani, and trekkers venture through dense forests, where rhododendrons bloom vividly in spring. The trail ascends and offers panoramic vistas of the Himalayan peaks, including Langtang and Everest, unfolding before the eyes. Nagarkot, situated atop a hill, is renowned for its stunning sunrise and sunset views. Continuing to Dhulikhel, the trail unveils quaint Newari villages, terraced fields, and ancient temples. Finally, in Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site, trekkers can soak in the spiritual ambiance, complementing the natural beauty that makes this hike an unforgettable journey.

Itinerary

On the first day of our hike, we are going to explore the Chisapani hill to Nagarkot base. We will be driving around 1:30mins from the center of the Kathmandu to Chisapani base. When we will reach the base of Chisapani, we will start our trek to explore the Chisapani hill to Nagarkot.


Chisapani, standing at a height of 2,135 m lies 24 km northeast of Kathmandu. Chisapani offers a stunning view of snowcapped mountains and mountain ranges, a tranquil forest, a beautiful village, mesmerizing view of the sunrise and sunset. This route has beautiful views. We explored the Chisapani and moved to Nagarkot. This route has beautiful views and can be combined with another. We can enjoy the surrounding village with the inhabitants of the people. Exploring Chisapani Hill will be the best hike with the beautiful scenery of villages and hills. We can also explore Buddhist culture as well and there is a Tamang village on Chisapani. You can see a lot of flowers, and rhododendron in the forest. After 3-4 hours of walking we rich to the top of the hill from where we can have a close view of long-range the eastern Himalayas from Langtang to the Gauri Shankar ranges.


After 6-7 hours of a hike from the natural beauty of Chisapani to the base of Nagarkot. We arrive at the beautiful hill station of Nagarkot base. We will stay overnight at the accommodation of your choice hotel\ restaurant on the base of Nagarkot Hill. We can see a good view of the sunset from the Nagarkot. It is also a famous place to have a wonderful view of sunrise and sunset.

On the 2nd day of our trek, we will enjoy it full of glory. We will wake up early in the morning to have a beautiful view of sunrise. Nagarkot is well known for its eye-catching views of sunrise and sunset over the Himalayas. We will do our snakes\lunch and continue our trekking.


We will trek around Nagarkot Hill to see the natural beauty and the inhabitants of the people living there. Nagarkot is a popular hill station with a height of 2175m. We will climb the hill as a trek. We can see an inhabitance of the Newari people. On the trail, we can see the different types of Newari agriculture over there. We can also taste Newari foods over here.


After exploring Nagarkot hill we will move on to the base of Dhulikhel hill. It will take us around 4-5 hours to reach the beautiful base place of Dhulikhel from where we can stay overnight at the hotel/restaurant accommodation of your choice.

We will wake up early in the morning to get the fresh air. We will enjoy the morning with the beautiful view of the city and hills. We can see a lovely sunrise from there. We will do our mile and continue the trek to explore Dhulikhel Hill and the base of Namobuddha.


Dhulikhel is one of the best easy trail hiking areas around Kathmandu. Dhulikhel trails lead us to the beautiful greenery of hills and cities. The trail to the uphill of Dhulikhel is very enjoyable. We will walk 2-3 uphill to reach the top of the hill. It is famous for its scenic beauty and tradition, a lovely place. After exploring Dhulikhel hill, we will hike towards the Namobuddha. It will take us around 4-5 hours to reach the base of Namobuddha from Dhulikhel. We will have a great evening with a wonderful view of the sunset. We will lay out to the Namobuddha hotel\lodges at the end of the third day

Early in the morning, we will wake up to see a beautiful view of sunrise from Namobuddha. The view of sunrise and Snowcap Mountain from the Namobuddha will be a memorable view for you. The environment and the clean surrounding is very good for mental health. We will have our meal and continue our trek to explore Namobuddha hill.


Namo Buddha is an ancient and famous Buddhist monastery hill situated at the height of 1800m. It is also the best place for hiking in Kathmandu valley. Namobuddha is the cultural place where people worship Lord Buddha. The trail will make it easy to reach the top monastery of the hill. Half of the trails are very small roads so; there won’t be vehicles on the way. The trails lead us to the quiet forest which has a peaceful environment. Namobuddha hike provides the truly exciting with Himalayan views and village hikes. Beautiful monasteries and enjoyable greenery trails make people go there for hiking. We need to go by the stairs to reach the top of Namobuddha. We can see the beautiful views of the long-range mountains like Mt Everest and Langtang in clear weather.


After exploring the Namobuddha hill and visiting the monastery. We will return to Kathmandu and end this memorable trekking over here.
