2Night/3 days Chitwan National Park Jungle Safari trip is one of the most popular activities trips in Nepal. The national park is located in Chitwan, which is 170km away from Kathmandu. It takes around 5-6 hours to reach the national park from Kathmandu.
The environment around the national park is very suitable for wildlife. In Chitwan, we can get a chance to explore the Tharu community and Tharu culture.
The jungle safari offers many tourist activities, which attract it most; Elephant safari, Elephant breeding center tour, Jungle safari, crocodile breeding center tour, Chance to watch different types of birds, Tharu Village, and many more. There are around 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 55 species of herpetofauna, and 126 species of fish in the National Park.

On the first day of our trip, we drive to Chitwan National Park. It takes around 4-5 hrs to reach there and we have to check into the hotel. After some rest, our Bold Himalayan guide gives you brief information about the trip to make you clear. Moving on, we visit Tharu Village and explore the elephant breeding center. We can have a singing view of the sunset from the bank of the river.
On this day we have full of excitement and adventure activities. After taking breakfast and before lunch, we have small activities. To start the safari, first, we take a ride of Canoe ride in the Rapti River and start a walk into the jungle.
On the journey, we can see encounter aquatic animals and even wild animals also on the bank of the river. Different types of wild birds insects, reptiles, and animals like; bears, deer, tigers, and rhinos are the major attraction of the Chitwan National Park. After all that, we head back to the hotel for lunch and again start our activities.
We start an elephant safari in the jungle. During the elephant safari, we can get a chance to see four different kinds of Deer, Rhinoceros, leopards, Royal Bengal tigers (In chance), and many more different animals. You can choose to drive back to the Hotel for free time in the evening and to visit the local cultural area of Tharu. We stay overnight at the hotel.
Today is the last day of our trip. We head back to Kathmandu by bus, but before leaving Chitwan. We have a short walk around the Tharu community in the early morning.
While heading back to Kathmandu, we can have a beautiful landscape passing the village Hills Rivers, and Mountains. After 4-5 hrs of driving, we successfully arrive in Kathmandu.
