Your Journey, Step by Step
Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft.), trek to Phakding (2,610m/8,562ft.)
You will have an early morning breakfast at your hotel. Then you will be escorted to the domestic terminal of the airport. There you will have one of the most challenging and adventurous flights. After about 30 mins flight scenic from Kathmandu, we reach Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla. This is one of the most beautiful air routes in the world as you land on a hillside surrounded by high mountains peaks
After landing at Lukla Airport, you will meet the rest of the trekking members and head toward Phakding. From Lukla, we will follow the trail through Dudh Koshi River. And crossing several villages like Chhamuwa, Thado Koshi we climb the bridge to reach the bank of the Dudh Koshi River, Ghat. Finally, we have an easy walk and then climb to reach Phakding. Overnight at the luxury hotel of Phakding.
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft.)
From Phakding, we head toward Namche Bazaar after breakfast. The trail continues along the right bank of the Dudh Koshi. With the view of the Thamserku standing majestically on the opposite, we reach Benkar. Here you cross the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. Then you pass through the forest to Chumoa. We continue the trail with many ups and down to the village Monjo, the border of Sagarmatha National Park. Before entering the park, your permit is checked
Our trek continues with diverse flora and fauna. Then, you will pass by Jorsale village. Walk along aside of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River with a glimpse of Mt. Everest. And a steep ascent afterward will take us to the colorful, Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar is the most famous Sherpa village situated at 3,440m. Namche Bazaar is also the biggest town and the trading hub of the Everest Region. it is surrounded on three sides by the mountain ranges. Overnight at Namche.
Explore, Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar & Hike to Everest View Hotel
It’s another day in Namche, today we will hike to the Everest View Hotel for a panoramic view of the mountains. From Namche Bazaar we walk through the meadows and forest for about two hours to Syanboche. Here is the famous Everest View Hotel. Everest view hotel is the world highest hotel situated at 3,800m. i.e. we will gain elevation of around 400 meters with trekking. From Everest View Hotel, we can have a breathtaking view of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Ama Dablam (6,814m), Thamserku (6,618m), and more mountains. We will have a coffee or tea in the Everest Hotel
Then we will trek upward to the Syanboche airstrip. Syanboche airstrip is the world’s highest airport at an altitude of 3,780m/12,401ft. We can have an aerial view of Namche Bazaar from here. After that, we hike back to Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar to Debuche (3700m/12139ft.)
Before heading to Tengboche we hike to the Khumjung village. Khumjung village is the village of Sherpas, the worldly renowned climbers. Here, you can visit Khumjung Hillary School and Khumjung Gompa. After exploring, we continue our trek along the rushing glacial water of the Dudh Koshi. On the way, you have amazing views of the mountains. And the trail rises to Sanasa. Here, we follow the trail to the right that descends to cross the Dudh Koshi. We cross the river on a suspension bridge near Phunki Thenga. It is the lowest point north of Namche Bazaar
Then we enter the Imja Khola Valley, from here trail rises steeply and through the rhododendron forest to the hilltop village of Tengboche. Overnight at Tengboche lodge.
Debuche to Monjo (2,835m/9,301ft.)
Today, we will visit the famous monastery of the Khumbu region, Thyangboche monastery. It is situated at 3,867m (12,687ft) and is the religious center of the entire Khumbu region. It is also the largest gompa in the Khumbu region.
After visiting the Thyangboche Monastery, we descend to Phunki Thenga. Then we follow the uphill and downhill trail for a while and ascend to Sanasa. The trail from Sanasa drops to Khyangjuma village. And with the sight of charming landscape and massif, we climb to the Namche Bazaar.
After Namche, we follow the trail to Jorsale. Here, we cross the suspension bridge and descend to Monjo, the border of Sagarmatha National Park. Overnight at Monjo.
Monjo to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft.)
After breakfast in Monjo, we head start the last day of the trek to Lukla. From Lukla, we first descend. On crossing several suspension bridges and villages all the way to Dudh Khoshi river reach Phakding.
After Phakding saying goodbye to the Himalayas views of Everest, we move ahead to Ghat. Cross the Dudh Koshi river and several villages like Chhamuwa, Thado Koshi. Following the trail through Dudh Koshi River we reach Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.
Lukla to Kathmandu Flight
Today we will fly back to Kathmandu after breakfast. The flight from and to Lukla is always in the morning. So we will have a morning thrilling flight from Lukla with spectacular views of the hillside landscape. After about 30 mins flight we will land at Kathmandu airport. Our guide will drop you at your 5-star hotel, and you can have rest in the afternoon after a beautiful mountain journey. In the evening you will have a cultural dinner with the members of the Bold Himalaya. Overnight at Kathmandu 5-star hotel
Departure
One of the representatives of our Bold Himalaya will drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport before 3 hours of your flight time. Otherwise, if you want time want to explore more places we can arrange another adventurous, beautiful trip to Nepal.
