Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing Day Tours
Today, after having breakfast in the hotel, we will visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, and other cultural highlights.
The ancient Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world, and the Swayambhu Stupa, meaning “self-existent,” is popular among foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. Kathmandu Durbar Square is rich with ancient palaces with spectacular art and architecture. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara (207 km / ~6–7 hrs)
After an early morning breakfast, we drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. On the way, enjoying the beautiful view of green mountains all the way, we reach Pokhara after 6-7 hours of driving.
Upon our arrival in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city, we are rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, the five peaks of Annapurna, and others.
After hotel check-in, enjoy a relaxing boating experience on Phewa Lake and explore the lakeside area. Overnight in Pokhara.
Note:
If you have time, then you can also explore Begnas Lake, Davis Waterfall, and the International Mountain Museum. And for more adventure, you can do activities like mountain biking, bungee jumping, paragliding, Ultra-light flight, etc in Pokhara.
Day 4: Pokhara to Nayapul to Ghorepani (2,750 m / 9,186 ft)
Today is the first day of our trek to Poonhill. After breakfast, we drive to Naya Pul and start our trek to Ghorepani. We walk through beautiful villages, terraced fields, and lush forests en route to Ghorepani.
Today is the first day of our Poon Hill trek. After an early breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Nayapul, the starting point of our trek. From here, the trail gradually ascends through charming villages, terraced farmlands, and lush green forests, offering the first glimpses of local mountain life.
Along the way, we stop at a local teahouse for lunch, enjoying traditional Nepali or simple trekking meals while resting and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The walk continues through stone steps and shaded forest paths before reaching Ghorepani, a beautiful hill village known for its mountain atmosphere.
Upon arrival, we check into our teahouse and relax after the day’s hike. In the evening, we enjoy a warm dinner at the lodge, surrounded by cool mountain air. Overnight in Ghorepani.
Day 5: Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,610 m / 8,562 ft)
We make an early morning climb along the steep trails to the viewpoint of Poonhill (3,210m/10,529 ft.) to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas. Watching the beautiful sunrise is a defining moment with lots of pleasure and tranquillity.
The most popular trekking destination of the Annapurna region and a great viewpoint to enjoy amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara, and more than 20 of the highest mountains, including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
Then we return to Ghorepani for breakfast and spend some time in Poonhill, and our trek to Tadapani starts. A short climb to Deurali passes for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.
Then we descend through the rhododendron forest, pass by spectacular waterfalls along the way, and reach Tadapani, which also provides a close-up sunset view. Overnight at Tadapani.
Day 6: Tadapani to Ghandruk to Shyauli Bazar to Pokhara (1,940 m / 6,360 ft)
From Tadapani, the trekking trail descends steeply through the rhododendron forest. This part of the trek will be through a thick forest. Then we will be pleasantly surprised by the sight of blossoms in bloom on the slopes on the other side of the ravine.
After trekking for a while, we enter the village of Ghandruk, a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung people. Explore the village, and our trek continues to Shyauli Bazar, where you will meet your vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 7: Pokhara to Chitwan (815 m / 2,674 ft)
After breakfast, we depart from the beautiful city of Pokhara. Today, we drive to Chitwan, a city located at the foot of the Churia range and famous for housing Chitwan National Park (CNP), the first national park in Nepal, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After about 5 hours’ drive, we reach Chitwan and have lunch. After lunch, enjoy a village walk, explore local culture, and relax while watching the sunset over the plains. In the evening, we can enjoy cultural programs conducted by the Tharu, the community of Terai. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 8: Chitwan National Park Safari
Today is dedicated to an exciting full-day wildlife experience in Chitwan National Park, one of Nepal’s finest natural reserves and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, the day starts with a peaceful canoe ride along the Rapti River, where we may spot crocodiles resting on the banks and a wide variety of water birds.
We then visit the Elephant Breeding Center, gaining insight into elephant conservation and observing playful calves. Around midday, we return to the lodge or restaurant for a relaxing lunch.
Then, we enjoy a Jeep safari into the jungle in search of wildlife. There are chances to spot rhinos, deer, wild boar, and numerous bird species, which takes us closer to a variety of wild flora and fauna found in the park, and we will see many amazing creatures there.
In the evening, after some rest, we enjoy a traditional Tharu cultural dance performance, showcasing the vibrant customs, music, and lifestyle of the local Tharu community. The day ends with a delicious dinner at the lodge. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 9: Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu
Early in the morning, we have breakfast and engage ourselves in birding as Chitwan National Park is the home to a large variety of resident and migratory birds, then we drive toward Kathmandu.
We can enjoy the beautiful hilly terrains, small houses, and have our lunch along the way. After about a 5-hour drive from Chitwan, we reached Kathmandu in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 10: Final Departure
Today, our Nepal Experience Tour concludes. After breakfast, you’ll be taken to the international airport for your final departure.

We use private vehicles for traveling between cities, like Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Pokhara and Chitwan. This gives travelers the freedom to leave whenever they want and stop along the way to enjoy views visit markets or discover hidden treasures that are not commonly known.
Similarly during trekking parts of the journey private vehicles are used to take travelers to and from the starting points of trails as between different trekking spots. For instance tourists are driven from Pokhara to where the trek begins in Tikhedhunga and later from the end point of the trek in Ghandruk, to Pokhara. Private vehicles make it easy and efficient for travelers to make the most of their time on the trail while reducing any challenges they may face.
Free Airport transfer during Arrival and Departure
Navigating new nations can be quite difficult. Especially in urban places like Kathmandu, you may get confused about reaching a destination. So we arrange a transfer to the destination hotel as soon as you arrive at the airport. Similarly, during your departure from Nepal we arrange transfer to the airport.
Availability of ATMs and Banks
ATM services and Bank services are readily available throughout the trip. You can withdraw and use ATM cards everywhere in Kathmandu Pokhara and Chitwan. It is somehow scarce during the 4 day Ghorepani Poonhill trek.
Safety Guidelines inside Chitwan National Park
Make sure you pay close attention to the directions your guide gives you.
Keep yourself inside the assigned car or on the elephant at all times when you go on an elephant or jeep safari.
When on safari, it’s crucial to make as little noise as possible to avoid upsetting the animals.
Recall that you should only approach and attempt to feed tamed animals.
Respect the guidelines established by Chitwan National Park.
Make sure to let your guide know if you feel unwell during the safari or if you have any worries.

Nepal Experience Tour Visa and Passports
Travelers visiting Nepal will need a tourist visa, which they can get when they arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, in Kathmandu or at Nepali embassies or consulates in countries. Another option is to apply for an e-visa for your journey. Make sure your passport remains valid for six months after your planned departure, from Nepal. We will assist you in obtaining the VISA but you will have to pay the fees yourselves.
