Overview
Sikles village is
the largest Gurung village after Ghandruk. This village is a well-preserved
example of traditional Gurung culture. Sikles village lies to the north of
Pokhara, in Kaski district. This village is a central part of the Annapurna
Conservation Area. Sikles is also one of the oldest beautiful villages. Besides
that, it is a home to those fearless recruits who listed in the Gurkha Army.
This typical Gurung village is interesting with the culture, ethnic language,
and lifestyle. It is an excellent and well-preserved village at an elevation of
3,000m. Likewise, it is a remote village in the shadow of Annapurna II and
