Your Journey, Step by Step
Day 2: Drive from Pokhara to Birethanit and trek to Tikhedunga-1,540m
Today morning, we take a short drive to Birethanit. The trail passes through the agricultural village. We can see the agricultural farm of local people. This short drive will be very entertaining. After reaching Birethanit, we start our journey to the Tikhedunga. The village is very colorful because of the different flowers blooming around it. The environment of the village is very suitable for agriculture. We hike for 3-4 hrs to reach Tikhedunga. We stay overnight at the hotel/lodge of Tikhedunga.
Day 3: Trek to Ghorepani-2,750m from Tikhedunga
The journey with an amazing uphill walk through the Ulleri village, Banthanti, and dense forest of oak and rhododendron lead us to the Tikhedunga. An hour of hike leads us to Ulleri village and from there to Banthanti where we can take a rest from lunch. The trail through the dense forest is full of greenery. We can have an eye-catching view of Machhapuchre and south Annapurna. We pass through the Magar village and reach Tikhedubga.
Day 4: Exploring around Poon Hill -3,210m and trek to Tadapani-2,590
Our today’s destination is Tadapani but before starting the journey to Tadapani. We take a short one-hour exploring hike from Tikhedubga. We take out from the hotel/lodge early in the morning and climb to Poon Hill to behold a truly mesmerizing view of early morning. We can have a marvelous view of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7555m), Machhapuchhre (6997m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna II (7937m), and so forth. After capturing the mesmerizing views of the sunrise, we will leave Poon Hill and return to the hotel, and have some lunch. After that, we continue our journey to Tadapani.
We reach Tadapani after 5-6 hours of hiking from the enjoyable hiking trail. We stay overnight at a hotel/lodge.
Day 5: Trek to Chhomrong-2,170m
We leave Tadapani in the early morning and start hiking through the dense forests to Ghandruk and then the trail ascends gently to Ghandrukkot. Through the forest, we reach Siprong at around 2hrs. From here, the trail descends steeply to the suspension bridge over the Kimrung Khola. The trail ascends gently until Gurjung and after an hour of hike, we reach to Chhomrong. We can see the inhabitants of the Gurung community in Chhomrong who is the major ethnic group of Nepal. Overnight at a lodge/Hotel in Chhomrong
Day 6: Trek to Dovan- 2,505
Trek to Dovan from Chhomrong takes almost 5-6hrs. We hike from the village and climb down many steps to the river. The trail steeply descends to a local small bridge. On crossing the bridge the trail gently ascends to a small settlement in Sinuwa which takes around 2 hours. From there the trail continues the forest, farming landscapes to bamboo. We continue our trail following the Modi Khola to reach Dovan. We can enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset from Dovan hill, in the evening. We stay overnight in the Lodge/Hotel of Dovan.
Day 7: Trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp-3700m
In the morning we can have a good view of sunrise from Dovan. Today we hike to the beautiful snowing area Machhapuchre Base camp. . The trail is very interesting and very enjoyable with the close view of the mountain. The uphill trail is very peaceful and silent. We continue the climb to reach the Himalayas passing Pujinim Barahi temple along the way. We then reach Hinku cave where the trail drops along the Modi Khola. Our trail goes through the Avalanche area so we should be careful during the hike.
After a 5-6hrs of hike, we finally reach the beautiful Machhapuchre Base Camp. We have a beautiful snowcap around us. The huge view of Machhapuchre Mountain is the best thing to see from the MBC. We stay in the camp overnight.
Day 8: Climb to Annapurna Base Camp -4130m back to MBC
This morning brings something different excitement to your body. It is really beautiful to have a close view of Machhapuchre from the base camp. We can enjoy the surrounding snow and start climbing up to Annapurna Base Camp.
The trail up to Annapurna Base camp is short. It takes us around 2-3hrs to reach the ABC. The trail climbs along the rocky ridgeline to Annapurna Base Camp with beautiful views of the mountains like Mount Annapurna South (7,229m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna III (7,555m), Gangapurna (7,454m) and Machhapuchhre or Fish Tail (6,997m), Hyun Chuli (6,441m) and numerous other peaks. After reaching the Annapurna Base Camp. We explore it. We have a close and beautiful view of Annapurna from the Base Camp. After spending a couple of hours in the ABC we head back to MBC and stay overnight in the camp.
Day 9: Climb to Singu Chuli base Camp-4,350m
we have a difficult trail up to Singu Chuli Base Camp. Today we get close to the Singu Chuli peak. We leave MBC after having lunch. We have to hike through the rocky path to reach Singu Chuli Base Camp. The Singu Chuli Base Camp is at an altitude of 4,350m above sea level. The camp is surrounded by high peaks and it takes us around 4-5 hrs to reach the Base Camp. We have a beautiful view of sunset in the evening from the camp. We stay overnight in the tent.
Day 10: Rest and Acclimatization
On this take, we take a break from the hiking. We explore around the base camp and have memorable views of the snow caps mountain. We take rest and manage our necessary things for tomorrow because tomorrow is the training day. We can enjoy the evening sunset from the base camp and stay in the tent overnight.
Day 11: Training and rest day
On this day we wake up early in the morning and start training. Climbing the Singu Chuli peak is difficult and very adventurous. Without any basic knowledge of mounting we can’t climb the peak, so; it needs proper training. We hike to the nearest place for practice. We follow our guides and obey their instructions. After practicing we take a rest and stay overnight in the camp.
Day 12: Climb to camp l-5,500m
Today we start up climbing adventures. Our guide fixed the rope on the trail to make our trail easier. Climbing through rocky and ice paths might have some difficulties. Climbing to Camp l is a part of training to summit the peak. Camp I lies at an altitude of 5,500m. We stay overnight in the tent in Camp l.
Day 13: Climb to camp ll 6,200m
We continue our climbing up to Camp ll. We start climbing early in the morning and take a paramental view of the mountain from Camp ll. Camp ll is at an altitude of 6,200m above sea level. It is an adventurous climb. The climbing is more difficult than climbing to camp l. After climbing for 4-5 hrs we can finally reach camp ll where we can make a tent. We stay overnight in the tent.
Day 14: Summit to Fluted Peak (6,501m/21,323ft) and back to the Fluted Base Camp
It is the day we can finally climb to the top of the peak. We wake up early in the morning to summit the peak. Climbing through the snow path will be very adventurous. We can have a beautiful view of the snow caps mountain from the top of the peak. It might be difficult to climb but after reaching the top of the mountain. You will forget the struggle and difficulty. We take some time to enjoy the top of the pick and captor the special movement on our camera. And we head back to the base camp. We stay for a night at the base camp.
Day 15: Reserve day for climbing in case of bad weather in high altitude
This day is considered a reserve day for climbing because the weather at the high altitude might be able to change at any time. We can’t climb the mountain in bad weather. It will be very dangerous in bad weather. That’s why this day is considered a reserve day in case of bad weather.
Day 16: Trek back to Dovan-2600m
From this day we start hiking back to Pokhara by using the same following trail. We hike down to the Dovan from the base camp. We will enjoy the trail by crossing the ABC and MBC. The trail provides beautiful mountain scenery of the mountain. After passing through MBC we reach Doven. It takes around 5-6hrs of a hike to reach Dovan from the Singu Chuli base camp. We stay overnight at the hotel/lodge of Dovan
Day 17: Downhill Trek to Jhinu Danda-1780m
Our today’s journey starts in the early morning. We take a downhill trek to Jhinu Danda. It takes around 6-7hrs of walking to reach there. We leave the hotel in the early morning and start trekking. We follow the jungle path for a shortcut. The trail through the jungle is very quiet and peaceful. We can see different plants on the trail. After a couple of hours of walking from the jungle, we reach at Jhinu Danda, where we can stay for the night in the hotel/lodge.
Day 18: Downhill Trek to Tolka-1620m
Today we have a downhill trek to Tolka. Tolka is a beautiful village full of greenery. We can see the agricultural farm of the villager in the village. To reach the Tolka village the trail passes through the agricultural area. The view of the Annapurna range looks really very beautiful from the village. The downhill hike to Tolka is very enjoyable. We can reach Tolka after 5-6hrs of a hike from Jhinu Danda. There are many hotels and lodges where we can stay overnight.
Day 19: Trek to Phedi-1,130 and driver from there to Pokhara.
The morning view of Tolka town is truly very beautiful. We can see the Annapurna mountain range color turning into golden red and orange because of the sunrise. Today we have a short hike up to Phedi and a short drive up to Pokhara. The hike up to Phedi is very enjoyable. Phedi is also one of the most beautiful villages around Pokhara. It has a beautiful hill full of rhododendron and oak tree. We take a short drive up to Pokhara and stay overnight in the hotel/lodge.
Day 20: Flight back to Kathmandu.
We take a morning walk around the lake of the Pokhara. We can also visit famous cave-like; like Chamero Gufa, Mahendra Gufa, etc. Today we take our flight and get back to Kathmandu. Before our flight, we walk and explore Pokhara. When our flight apparition comes, we fly to Kathmandu. After take-off from Pokhara, it takes around 40-50 mins to reach Kathmandu. From the airport, we stay at the hotel of Thamel and in the evening we have a small fare well program with dinner. We enjoy the event by singing and dancing. After having dinner we hake check- out from the hotel in next morning and we will end our memorable and adventurous tour over there.
