Itinerary

Your Journey, Step by Step

Day 1: Kathmandu to Chaurandi- rafting to Kuringhat

On the first day of rafting, you will have an early morning drive to Chaurandi. You will have an early breakfast and reach to the bus station before 7:30 am. The bus leaves Chaurandi at around 7:30 am. And after around 3 hours you reach the put-in point, Chaurandi. It a wonderful drive with amazing surroundings. You also get a glimpse of cable that takes you to the famous Temple, Manakamana.

Reaching Chaurandi you will be amazed by alluring surroundings. The crew prepares the raft. After putting the safety gear, you head toward the river. There will be a safety talk and lesson to use paddles. Then the rafting starts, while rafting you will encounter a no. of Class I to Class II rapids. Two hours down the river is a beach which is also a lunch spot. You will have an enchanting adventure while having lunch in the riverside. Here, you have some rest and enjoy the scenery. After some time rafting continues. You will have extra fun as the rapids here naturally are more ferocious and more frequent. Finally, at the end of the day, the rafting stops at Kuringhat. You will spend a night at Kuringhat. Staying in Kuringhat adds fun to the rafting trip.

Day 2: Kuringhat to Simaltar- back to Kathmandu

On the second day, you will have an early breakfast and leave Kuringhat. Leaving the wonderful Kuringhat behind we will have more adventure on the river. With the splendid vista, you will enjoy the many bouncy rapids today. Besides that, you have an amazing sight of emerald hillsides & beautiful paddy fields. Then one and a half hours downriver is the confluence of the Trishuli and the Marsyangdi. The rafting further reaches to the place called Tea Pot. Here, your wonderful rafting ends. You will drive back to Kathmandu.
