Day 1

Start our 1-day hike to White Gumba

Pick-up from Hotel (Kathmandu Valley)

Early morning, after breakfast, our day begins with a comfortable pick up from your hotel within Kathmandu Valley. After a short drive, we head towards Balaju Bypass / Fulbari Gate, which is about 4-5 km, the starting point of the hike. Enjoy a scenic 20-30 minute drive through the city and quiet outskirts before reaching the trailhead near Nagarjun Forest. 

Start Hiking to White Gumba

The hike begins through peaceful forest trails filled with greenery, birds, and fresh air. The trail gradually ascends and is suitable for beginners. Along the way, you can enjoy nature, take photos, and walk at a relaxed pace. 

Reach White Gumba (Seto Gumba)

After 2.5-3 hours of hiking, we reach White Gumba, a beautiful monastery located on the hilltop. Spend time exploring the monastery, spinning prayer wheels, enjoying the calm atmosphere, and admiring panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding hills.

Lunch & Relaxation

Enjoy a packed lunch or snacks while relaxing at the viewpoint. This is a perfect time for photography, meditation, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Descend Back

Begin the descent using the same route or an alternative trail toward Ichangu Narayan. The downhill walk is easier and offers different scenic perspectives. Reach the road head where our vehicle will be waiting.

Drive Back & Drop-off

Then, we drive back to Kathmandu and will be dropped off at your hotel, ending a refreshing and peaceful one-day hike.
