What happens in Emergency situation while climbing Mera Peak?
Mera Peak is situated close, to Lukla, where you can find a equipped hospital and an airport that facilitates the evacuation of injured individuals. While its possible to arrange for a helicopter transport to parts of the journey to Mera this option heavily relies on weather conditions and good visibility. It’s best to drink boiled or bottled water after using purification tablets, portable filters.
