Born and raised in the Everest region, Palden Tamang experienced being a trekking guide in Nepal, and grew up surrounded by the Himalayas and mountain landscapes from an early age. Starting as a porter, he began his career in Nepal’s tourism industry as a porter and gradually built his experience through hard work and dedication.

Over the years, he has assisted and guided hundreds of trekkers, helping them reach their desired destinations in line with their interests, goals, and expectations while creating memorable mountain experiences.

Since 2019, Palden has been associated with Bold Himalaya as a professional trekking guide. He is dedicated to leading trekkers to popular routes of the Everest Region Peaks, Tibet’s various Himalayan destinations, carefully adapting each journey to the trekkers’ preferences, abilities, and interests.

Palden has extensive experience in high-altitude trekking and excellent English communication skills, enabling him to interact confidently with international travelers.

He also has deep knowledge of the Himalayan environment, local culture, traditions, and heritage, which he enjoys sharing with trekkers throughout their journey.

With years of mountain experience, strong local expertise, and a genuine passion for guiding, Palden is committed to providing safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable trekking experiences in the Himalayas.
