Bold Himalaya Trip Booking Terms & Conditions
Bold Himalaya Treks and Travels is a responsible, trustworthy tour operator company registered under the Nepal Government. We pride ourselves on delivering the best service to our guests. All the terms and conditions govern the relationship between Bold Himalaya and you (Our Guest).
We request you to read and clearly understand all the terms and conditions before booking your trip with us. These terms and conditions effectively apply from the date the trip package is booked with Bold Himalaya.
General Trip Booking Procedure
- While booking, we require your identity, a copy of your passport, and a 20% deposit of the total trip cost.
- The 20% deposit amount is non-refundable in any situation, even if you cancel the trip on the booked date. However, it will remain safe with us as a lifetime deposit. You can either:
- Postpone the trip to a future date.
- Recommend it to someone else through you.
- Booking Options: You can book the trip via our website or email us at boldhimalaya@gmail.com.
- The outstanding amount must be paid 2 working days before setting out on the trip.
Payments Method
We accept payments through:
- Bank transfer
- Online transfer
- Western Union
- MoneyGram
- Other transfer methods
Currency and Exchange Rate
- We accept all major currencies and cards.
- The exchange rate depends on the Central Bank of Nepal.
- Payments via card in Nepal incur a 4% additional charge imposed by credit card processors as a bank fee.
Health and Physical Fitness
For all outdoor activities, you must be physically and mentally prepared. Especially for high-altitude treks, you need patience and good fitness to complete the journey successfully.
Group Join
If you are interested in joining a group trip, you must join on the specified departure date, and we will add you to a group.
Extra Night in Kathmandu
If you stay an extra day beyond the trip package in Kathmandu, you will need to pay additional costs for the hotel and trip.
Cancellation and Refund
- Early Termination by You:
If the trip is terminated by the client, no refund will be provided once the trip has started.
- Termination by the Company (Any Case):
If the trip is terminated by us, the refund will be issued after deducting the incurred trip expenses.
- Termination Beyond Our Control:
If the trip is terminated due to factors beyond our control (e.g., violence, strikes, natural disasters, landslides, earthquakes), no refund will be issued.
- Trip Terminated Earlier:
If travelers return earlier than the specified time during the trip, the money paid will not be refunded, and any additional costs will be the responsibility of the traveler.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for trips to the Himalayas (especially trekking and expedition). It should cover medical expenses and emergency evacuation.
Booking Through Third Parties
If you book through a third party, you must also adhere to their terms and conditions.
