Arrival in Kathmandu
The view of snow-capped mountain peaks greets you as you fly into Kathmandu. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the Bold Himalaya representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Take some time to rest, or you can explore the vibrant streets of Thamel.

Kathmandu Valley Heritage Tour
Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural and spiritual treasures of the Kathmandu Valley. After having breakfast, you will visit some of Nepal’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the peaceful Boudhanath Stupa, the artistic Patan Durbar Square, and the hilltop Swyambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple.
Throughout the day, you will witness ancient architecture, vibrant local traditions, prayer rituals, and bustling marketplaces filled with handicrafts and local art. This cultural journey presents a deep insight into Nepal’s history, religion, and daily life. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Drive from Kathmandu to Bandipur
After breakfast, we’ll begin a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the beautiful hilltop town of Bandipur. The road follows the Trishuli River, passing through green hills, terraced farmlands, riverside villages, and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, check into a traditional Newari-style guesthouse and experience the peaceful atmosphere of this preserved heritage town.
We’ll spend the afternoon walking along Bandipur’s charming stone-paved streets lined with traditional houses, cafes, and temples. In the evening, enjoy a stunning sunset view from Gurungche Hill Viewpoint, where the Himalayan ranges glow beautifully in the fading light. Overnight stay in Bandipur.
Drive to Besisahar to Chame
Today’s journey takes you deeper into the Annapurna region. After driving from Bandipur to Besisahar, you will switch to a jeep for an adventurous off-road drive toward Chame. The route winds through rugged mountain roads, dense pine forests, waterfalls, suspension bridges, and dramatic river gorges.
Along the way, you will witness changing landscapes and traditional mountain settlements that reflect the unique culture of the Himalayan region. Upon reaching Chame, the district headquarters of Manang, enjoy the fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings beneath snow-capped peaks. Overnight in Chame.
Drive from Chame to Manang
This morning, continue your scenic drive toward the beautiful village of Manang. The route passes through picturesque villages like Pisang, Humde, and Braga, offering magnificent views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and surrounding Himalayan peaks. You will visit the ancient Braga Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the region, known for its spiritual atmosphere and traditional Tibetan Buddhist culture.
After arriving in Manang, explore the charming stone-built village, interact with local people, visit yak farms, and enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery. Overnight stay in Manang.
Exploring day in Manang
Today is a relaxed exploration day in the heart of the Himalayas. You may choose to hike to the stunning Ice Lake, located at an altitude of 4,620 meters, where panoramic views of snow-covered peaks and glaciers reward your effort.Â
Alternatively, enjoy a peaceful visit to Gangapurna Lake or take a cultural walk around Manang village to observe local lifestyles, prayer wheels, monasteries, and traditional Himalayan homes. This day is also perfect for photography lovers, as the dramatic landscapes, mountain light, and authentic village life create unforgettable moments.Â
Back to Besisahar & Kathmandu
After an early breakfast, begin the return journey from Manang to Kathmandu, which is approximately 230km-270 km. The drive retraces the scenic mountain roads through river valleys, waterfalls, forests, and hillside villages. From Manang, we’ll return by jeep, then from Besisahar, continue driving back to Kathmandu while enjoying the final views of Nepal’s countryside.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, in the evening, enjoy a special farewell dinner featuring traditional Nepali cuisine and cultural hospitality, celebrating the memorable experiences of your Himalayan journey. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Final Departure
Your wonderful journey in Nepal comes to an end today. Depending on your flight schedule, we will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport approximately three hours before your departure time.
