Day 1

Drive to Pharping and start hike to Champadevi

Pick-up from the Hotel/Accommodation

At 8:00 am, after having breakfast, your guide/vehicle will pick you up from your hotel. Then, we drive to Pharping, which is 19.7 km, the starting point of the hike, enjoying the scenic view along the way, which takes approximately 1 hr from Kathmandu, depending on traffic.

Start hiking from Pharping

The Champadevi hike trail begins through Hattiban, which takes a 20-minute walk from Pharping. The hike takes around 5-6 hours. The trail passes through lush forest, charming villages, cultural landmarks, prayer flags, and traditional Nepali architecture. 

Take a break at the midpoint

Along the trail, take a short rest, hydrate, and enjoy the peaceful environment. Take photos of the scenic views of Kathmandu Valley and the surroundings.

Continue Ascent to Champadevi Peak

Resume hiking towards the summit. The afternoon light is perfect for stunning views of Kathmandu Valley, terraced fields, and distant Himalayan peaks. 

Reach Champadevi Summit

You can celebrate reaching the top at 2,285 meters / 7,495 feet. Explore the breathtaking views of Kathmandu Valley, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal ranges on a clear day, and enjoy snacks or a packed lunch while soaking in the spiritual atmosphere. 

Start Descending

You can take a different route back or retrace your steps to Hattiban, enjoying fresh perspectives of the valley, forest, and villages.

Return to Pharping and drive back to Kathmandu

After arriving at Pharping, we are picked up by our vehicle and driven back to Kathmandu.
