On your arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative. Then we will escort you to the five-star hotel. After some rest, in the evening you can visit some nearby sites. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel. 

Today, your Upper Dolpo Luxury treks start as you fly from Kathmandu to Yangjer. We will board a helicopter from Airport and fly to the elevated village in Dolpo Yangjer (4,599m). This flight is full of surprises. The landscapes change every couple of minutes. The cities turn into green hills and deep gorges through which raging Himalayan Rivers flow and gradually enter the barren region of West Nepal

We will explore the village and tour around the Gompa. It is considered one of the most religious Gompas of an entire region. You will witness the cultural difference there. Overnight in the camps at Yangjer.

After spending the night at Yangjer, we will begin the Luxury Pony Trek in Upper Dolpo. From Yangjer, we have a gradual downhill climb to Nagao Khola. On the way, we cross over a bridge and wind through the barren region of Dolpo. Here, absolute peacefulness prevails. We tread on an almost leveled trail following the trail on the bank of Nagao Khola. We slide down to Saldang, the crossing pass several yak herder’s camps and pasture lands. Then we will let your Ponies fed in Saldang. Then, we descend the village lanes and around tilled barley fields, enjoying the view of the Tibetan hamlet including mani walls and stupas, we reach our campsite. It lies just above the historic Saldang Gompa.

If you are visiting Upper Dolpo in Autumn, you have a feast for your eyes as the highland hamlet is in the full swing harvesting season. Overnight at camp.

Today we have a ride to another culturally fascinating village in Dolpo. We will explore the Gompa on the Namgung and capture the amazing landscape and appealing culture of Upper Dolpo. We will enjoy lunch at Namgung and head toward Shey Gompa, we will be trekking typical Dolpo barren and enchanting landscapes. Then, we begin almost two hours of pony ride to climb up towards the top of Shey la Pass. The summit of Shey La Pass west of Shey rewards the magnificent views of Mustang to the East, Tibet to the North, and Kanjiroba and Kagmara and Riu Dhukta, or the Crystal Mountain to the West. Finally, almost an hour of the ride downhill from the pass to Shey Gompa. Overnight in a camp at Shey. 

Today, our luxury pony tour in upper Dolpo enters into the region of Mystical lake crossing the Kangla Pass. The ride to the top of Kang La Pass is along the graveled trail uphill for 2-3 continuous hours and the top of Pass rewards us with wonderful views. Crystal Mountain, the mountains in Tibetan territory, and the mesmerizing landscapes of Dolpo are the eye feasting views from Kang La Pass. And before descending steeply down to the High Camp of Kang La Pass, we have views of the peaks Shey Shikhar and Kang Chunne, both just over 6,000 meters

Overnight in the camp at Kang La High Camp. 

From Kang La High Camp we slide down the pass to Sallaghari. It is the forest camp, the major camping site during the trek another way around. Our Pony walks through the forest trail for quite a while beyond Sallaghari. It continues along the valley floor to the confluence of the Phoksundo and Pungmo Rivers. The path follows the west bank of the Pungmo River to Phoksundo near Ringmo village after crossing the western side of the Phoksundo River by a wooden bridge. Similarly, we pass through a cedar forest and Palam, a winter settlement used by the people of Ringmo. From here we head toward the ridge at an altitude of around 3,350 meters. The distant views of Phoksundo Lake and the spectacular 300m high waterfall are seen from the ridge. Finally, the trail descends through a birch forest to the Phoksundo River. Then the settlement of Ringmo and a short walk to the shores of Phoksundo Lake. Overnight at tented camp

Today, we explore Phoksundo lake, enjoy the beauty of clear blue water of the lake. Then we walk to the hill from where the water in Phoksundo Lake exits out in the form of a high cascading waterfall. We can also enjoy the magnificent view of Kanjiroba just at the backdrop of Phoksundo lake. Then we also walk up to the village of Ringmo (a Bon village) and explore its Tibetan Buddhist monastery, mud-plastered Chortens, and mani walls. Walk back to our camps. Overnight at tented camp. 

Today, our Upper Dolpo Luxury treks end as we fly back to Kathmandu after breakfast by helicopter. Upon landing in Kathmandu, our staff will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. You will enjoy a Nepali farewell dinner, as well. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel

Today, our staff will take you to the Tribhuvan International Airport, three hours before your flight to your home town
